I’m no longer Catholic, but I do remember that Confession is a sacrament that erases sin but not guilt. ADA was trying to question Susan’s support for Lindsay by reminding her she’s Catholic but inadvertently *demeaned* the belief in the power of the sacraments.

These prosecutors are either the dumbest prosecutors that ever existed or they want a mistrial/not guilty verdict bc they also think the evidence is 💩 but were forced to prosecute anyways.

She was trying to get the jury to see this as a “sin” and disregard everything else. She is appealing to the faith of the jury members in hopes that they will ignore everything else and find her guilty because “god commands it”.

Watching the prosecution has brought on more questions than answers. there are holes in the timeline holes in the testimony and the questioning, they seem almost not prepared like they did not do their homework. I think they thought it was gonna be an open and shut case!
