Muslims perform five daily prayers: Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha, each at its prescribed time. Salah strengthens a believer's connection with Allah and brings peace, discipline, and spiritual purity. Before praying, a Muslim should perform wudu (ablution), wear clean clothing, and face the Qiblah. Every prayer begins with Takbirat al-Ihram and includes recitation of the Qur'an, bowing (Ruku'), prostration (Sujud), and Tashahhud. Salah teaches humility, patience, gratitude, and obedience to Allah. It also protects a person from sinful actions and reminds them of their purpose in life. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Pray as you have seen me praying."
