Jake Schreier’s adaptation of Paper Towns isn’t a great movie, but the dynamics between the teenagers were very convincing. If he can capture the YA craze the world felt around 2015, this could be great.

No shot he’s right, we saw the darkest most mature take on Jean in a spiderman film. You think they’re gonna go backwards and go more YA after that? X-Men is inherently YA if you think about it. It’s largely melodrama centered around personal relationships that happens to have big laser fights in each issue. I don’t think it’s wrong headed of the creatives in charge to lean that way this time around.

I ate really hope I’m not being disrespectful my comments cause I agree with everything he’s saying but how can it be young adult when they’re all in their early 20s. I’m thinking of new adult like college age when I think of young adult I think of like middle school, going into high school so or the homecoming trilogy with Spider-Man I don’t get young adult from this at all. I’m severely confused.
