Leadcore is a must when fishing near Lillie’s. Fish a locked clutch and be fast on the rod. Be patient if they get in the Lillie’s then be patient and they often come out.

Nothing wrong really I would have put it a bit to the left to help not get snagged and the carp may have just spat the hook and bait out

Place it just to the left of them so the carp doesn’t go straight into the Lilly pads and slacken your line of and if you have a single beep watch your line so it doesn’t go deep into Lilly pads if it’s on

So if ur snagged with Lilly’s I have them in my local also, so what u do is hold ur reel so line don’t pull and walk back soon as u go back a bit reel in and do it again and again until it comes out, hopes this helps 🎣🎣🤙🤙

Personally i would have placed my rig right there where you know there isn’t any Lilly’s and these little pockets is where 90% of the time will be a nice clear presentation for your rig, instead of casting directly into the Lilly’s where your certain to get snagged

Dont cast IN the lilies only next to them. They have routs or idk what its called but its not only on the top of the water, its under the water and u snaggef right in it because u casted IN them not next to tem

I would not trying to strike as hard and not a long as a strike just lift your rod firmly and wind in straight away if your getting snagged cast like 2 ft away good look on your next sesh 🍀🍀🍀

Not much else tpo do I would just put my rig just off the Lilly’s so if you get a tank it won’t be snagged immediately

I've had the same problem when fishing near the lillies mate, when I got a run, the fish instantly went into the lillies and I lost it and got snagged, so its just bad luck
