$1300 for duties is insane, you definitely made the right call! Plus you may want to change your style at some point, you might spill, your pets might destroy, who knows 🤷♀️

My dogs like to puke on rugs so I don’t spend a lot of money on them. Learned cheap is better with dogs.

PERSONALLY, it’s too bright, and the house has more warm tones, but the rugs a cool tone. It pulls my eyes immediately too it instead the rest of the beautiful house. I’d get something that blends better, like warmer

Buy Canadian - you may pay a bit more but you’ll be supporting Canada and not paying duties

I'm sorry, the rug is cute but not on that colour. And that sofa is too small for the amount of area that you guys have 🥺

love the rug but it feels a little busy with the wood floor pattern. but it's your home. if it brings you joy that's what matters most.

I too would love to see the dream rug. I like the one you chose. I would have a hard time swallowing 1300 extra just for duties.
