Why are we supposed to copy you when our own traditions have been documented and passed down for centuries? There are countless historical records showing that these traditions existed in Siam long before you started claiming them as your own. And yet, you copy what others created, take influences from the Siamese royal court, bring Siamese dancers into your country, give them little or no credit, and then turn around and call everyone else “thieves.” The irony is almost embarrassing. The more Thai dance and traditional Thai dress become internationally recognized, the more you suddenly rush to claim them. You say you hate Thailand, yet you keep making videos about Thailand and riding on Thai culture for views. Honestly, the more videos you make like this, the more obvious your insecurity about your own history becomes. If you are proud of your own culture, then promote your own culture. You don't need to erase other people's history, copy their traditions, or rewrite the past just to feel important. History doesn't change just because you are embarrassed by it. Even old videos and recordings from your own country show people acknowledging Siamese influence. There are also records of Thai songs being translated and adapted into your language, as well as evidence that khon masks were purchased from Thailand and used as models. The funny thing is that your own country has so much evidence, yet you deliberately close your eyes and ears and refuse to listen. You don't have to erase Thai influence to be proud of your own culture. But constantly denying documented history and claiming everything as your own only exposes your inferiority complex. The more desperately you try to erase the evidence, the more obvious your inferiority complex becomes. #ชุดไทย #thailand #thaidress #siam #lisa
