Why does no one ever mention the worst part. Having to have a family member or friend drive them home. Not everyone has family close enough or family at all. As well as not everyone has friends or friends that can drive. Clinics need to provide transportation to their patients to and from

I just had my colonoscopy. I did suprep. Test was st 6:30am. Took first bottle of pills at 3pm the day before and took the second bottle at 8pm. So easy.

I was told to stop eating fruits, vegetables, nuts,and whole grains 5-7 days in advance. I felt like crap. That was worse than the prep for me.

Why does my 115 lb body get the same dose as a 250 lb man????? I don’t finish the prep for that reason and never had a problem.

Call to check cost. I was told $500 co pay. Hospital called at 5:30pm night before (after one bottle of prep) and said, “no, we just ran your insurance, it’s $2,850 plus labs, anesthesia and possibly the doctor. I cancelled.

I have UC and was set to do a colonoscopy during Covid, I got scared about the test for Covid ( I’m not anymore) but my last colonoscopy was traumatic, the prep. I’ve had 5 colonoscopies, do it wasn’t my first prep. This had me so incredibly sick where I was extremely nauseous, throwing up, going the bathroom ( the whole point) and a migraine. I could hardly get out of bed but had to. That was incredibly traumatic when I don’t think prep should cause all of those symptoms. I’ve put it off too long, but I’m too scared

Soft foods 3 days out. Day before prep at 3pm i was clear and in bed asleep by 10. Not getting up at 2am.

My friends dad died on the table having one. He was healthy in his 50s & would be alive today if he hadn’t had something he really didn’t need & another friend had a polyp snipped & has been in pain ever since. I’m just saying.
