You can use saw dust and wood glue to make a little paste and cover holes and imperfections!

I just want to say, your effort for perfection is admirable. Most people I know would have just knocked it all together and then one or two licks of paint. You, spraying, sanding, filling, levelling, correcting etc at every stage has been great to watch. I hope you’re well proud of yourself!!! 👌

Offer the wood up and mark roughly with a pencil which way the mitre is .
