So sorry! I had a fusion from C5-7 last year and my spinal cord expanded after being decompressed resulting in an incomplete spinal cord injury. I woke up with right side weakness. Couldn’t walk and paralyzed hand. We never think it’s going to happen to us. Hang in there! ❤️

Wow, this is scary. I've had five major neck surgeries due to a bad accident when I was a teenager. The last one wasn't even three years ago. If you are open to sharing what caused it and what went wrong it would be really helpful to others especially those like myself wishing you lots of healing and if you're in New York City can definitely provide some resources to you.
