As a groomer, the furminator shampoo and conditioner sucks, instead reach for igroom deshedding and detangling shampoo and conditioner, and let the conditioner sit in the coat for at least 5 minutes, followed up by "the stuff for dogs" after being towel dried, and for brushes, a rubber curry like the "zoom groom" and the "furbliss" and a deshedding tool like the "andis deshedding tool" will work fantastically, furminators damage the coat with extended use unfortunately.

are there any dog breeds you'd recommend if you're looking for a small dog that can be alone for a large portion of the day? i have a busy schedule (school, work) and im moving into an apartment soon. i really want a dog of my own so i've been doing some research but i don't want my dog to be unhappy so im considering just getting a cat instead, but im hoping i can find a suitable dog breed🥹

Get a pair of “hands on” deshedding gloves. As a groomer my dogs get SO EXCITED when I pull out the gloves. If you don’t dry her completely, when she is completely dry just scrub the heck out of her with those gloves and I promise she’ll love it!

Can someone recommend me a dog? i am canadian (so its EXTREMELY cold in the winter, and i love walks). i go on walks almost everyday, i like dogs that are clingy and i prefer larger dogs since im not comfortable with smaller dogs. can someone throw me some recommendations? i am not a first time owner, but i am looking for a dog that matches me for when i move out !

dog groomer tips here!!! mix some soap with a little water in a cup and lather her in that first before actually wetting her down! dog fur can only absorb so much and having the product absorbed first makes it work 100 times better !

as a dog groomer i love the girl with the dogs fluff off. I've been using it for over a year and it's so much better than Furminator.
