@joyfulyoona: 8 years with loona ☹️🌙 i became an orbit shortly before their debut - i was following a kpop comeback schedule instagram account and they kept promoting loona throughout the years. i never paid much attention, until the teaser for favorite was uploaded. when the song dropped i was instantly obsessed, it’s one of my favorite loona songs even today. i was already collecting albums at the time, 4 versions weren’t necessarily the standard back then, so i worked all summer in my dad‘s garden to afford them 😭 sadly i sold them at some point, but i’m trying to regrow my collection now using my adult money (no longer lawn mowing or painting fences yay). anyway, it’s safe to say that loona‘s disbandment is still a sensitive topic for me, i’m being so forreal, sometimes i tear up thinking about them. i’ve lost a bunch of groups i loved throughout the ~10 years of being a kpop stan, but something about the moon girls was just so special to me. even after 4 years it’s hard to face reality (that they’ll never be back, and don’t seem to be wanting that either). not sure if it’s a safe space to admit this, but none of the redebuts quite got me the way ot12 releases did. though i am happy that they’re persuing what they dreamt of ofc!! #loona #kpop #kpopalbums #kpopcollection
