@robeverydayfinance: The 3 Best High Yield Savings Accounts, part 4! 👇 Although HYSAs are all very similar, each bank has different rules and perks associated with theirs. The APY offered is important, but not the only thing you should consider when choosing. In a perfect world, you’d have the best rate, a good bonus for signing up, and all the features you want, but we have to pick and choose the one that works best. 👇Did I cover your bank in this episode? #PersonalFinance #personalfinancetips #financialliteracy #hysa #emergencyfund

If you’re already in a HYSA, for example SOFI, when would it make sense to switch or diversify into another? With SOFI I have 3.1%, but if I switch to Elevault for the 4% APY I think the increase would be borderline negligible, unless you’re banking with tens or hundreds of thousands. Which I’m not. What are your thoughts?

the one you recommended is a Fintech product and not actually FDIA insured even if it says it is.

Hey, thanks for the info. I do use Amex HYSA and it’s about 3.0% but I’m looking into Marcus by Goldman Sachs that’s maintaining a 3.40% high. What’s your take on that?

Just buy a U.S. Treasury Bill. Higher interest rates and the interest is tax exempt at the state level.
