Do people forget how our grandparents and great grandparents grew up?? Most had 1 or 2 bedrooms with 12+ kids…. And in a lot of older homes, it’s normal to only have 1 bathroom!😅

My mom grew up with a family of 9 with one bathroom and everybody was fine. It can be done. Indoor plumbing is a modern day luxury. It’s okay folks!

I grew up with 3 sisters. my grampa his wife and their daughter lived with us for a few years. my gramma also lived with us for years. so at any given time, 9 - 10 people and one bathroom

Funny thing, we’re a family of 4- we lived in a 2 bedroom/1 bath and my family would talk shit about my kids sharing a room and that we only had 1 bathroom. Flash forward several years later- we sell our small home and buy a 5 bedroom 3 bathroom and guess what!? The kids still use my bathroom!!! They still sleep together in 1 room. It’s basically like having 3 empty rooms and 2 empty bathrooms. And yes, my kids pee outside bc we’re rural Texas and that’s just something they like to do- even if the 3 bathrooms are empty 😂

we had one bathroom with 4 people. if someone was in the bathroom the boys would just go pee outside if need be too.

Growing up with 7 kids and one bathroom that was the only main argument we ever had! 😂😂But again there’s 5 girls and only two boys so my sisters would take FOREVER getting ready/shower etc. but looking back it wasn’t the end of the world we always just made it work!!!💖

Here in the Netherlands, it is normal to have one bathroom; anything more than that is a luxury! 🥰

I had 4 bathrooms in my last place and now only have 2 and we have 8 people in our house and it's honestly not that bad, and the 1 bathroom down stairs is mainly the teen boys and honestly so much less to clean lmao
