I’m sorry you had a bad experience, but they do save lives, like they did w my mom in 2022. She still talks about her time there… definitely a lot to process. Proud of you & anyone who goes to acute❤️glad you are here today

I think the part that’s problematic is people bash it and then make it seem like they don’t do good. They do, it’s just odd and you have to give up a lot of control.

Yes refeeding syndrome is so real and not many people know about it, you can’t just go 0-100 if you’re so malnourished because it could be deadly

As one of the nurses of the private air ambulance that transports patients to ACUTE I am so sorry this was your experience. I have truly not taken a patient to ACUTE that I did not truly feel they needed to be there for both their physical mental healing.
