Sorry to once again provide a friendly correction on your post, but graywater should not go into an open pond or trench like this. You need to bury the irrigation line and then send it to a mulch basin. This is because your laundry or other graywater has bacteria and debris in it, and LADWP actually requires mulch basins for your graywater system.
