When I had a “psychiatrist” they sat w me for 5 minutes and prescribed me a bunch of shit that was harmful. PSYCHOLOGISTS are the ones that actually help people imo.

You are so right! I’m a mental health nurse! When we do out assessments we ask for family history if there is any mental health in the both sides of the family! We ask is there is drug use on both sides of the family. We keep the patients until we get their medications right. We keep them until we get them right. I have taken care of many patience and psychosis and while they’re in it, they do not remember anything after they come out of it they don’t remember anything that they did. And it is very sad to see a person in psychosis. Mental health is very hard to understand unless you actually see it! People that have never witnessed mental health they don’t understand it at all!! We check the patients every shift if they are having thoughts and if they say yes we ask if they have a plan! I put patients in turtle suits all the time with a suicide blanket to sleep with every night. And I work with the most vulnerable, children! So work with CPS all the time. People would die if they what most of these children have went through. I’ve worked with adults also and they never get better. Before I started working as a psych nurse, I was a postpartum nurse for 10 years! I know all about postpartum, blues, postpartum, depression, and postpartum psychosis. We sent our patients home with a pamphlet that describes every symptom of all of the things that they would go through and we send them home with a pamphlet that has the suicide hotline on it, and they are also told they can always call the postpartum floor if they have any questions if they’re having problems. A nurse will always listen to their patient and help them.

I totally am! My husband has Bipolar and PTSD from being a first responder. What they did to her is literally criminal! The practice itself, no. Those specific people, absolutely! My husband will willingly be admitted if his meds are off. She should have 100% been admitted right from the get go.

i am. they gave her medications but admitted they never did any blood tests to see what the meds are doing in her body & there was no communication with anyone. that is malpractice, no matter who it's being done to. & if they did it with her have they done this with other's?

first; I have NEVER in my 52 years of life said to my doctors or psychiatrists that I have hade passive suicidal thoughts. second; no normal physician would let a patient shift to so many different medications in that small window of time. In Norway at least... JUSTICE FOR LINDSAY!

They need to be blamed. on the same day by two different Dr's she was prescribed the same medication. Actually twice from both within a week or two. That should be ran thru MassPAT by both physicians & pharmacies. Same as Adderall
