🙏 Please Keep Heather in Your Prayers & Help Us Share Her Story 🙏 I wanted to reach out again and give everyone an update on Heather. She is finally home, and we are extremely grateful for that, but unfortunately, the struggle is far from over. Heather is still having a very difficult time getting around the house. She can only walk short distances with a walker and sometimes has to use her wheelchair because her legs become too weak and the pain becomes too much. Even simple things that most of us take for granted getting out of bed, going to the bathroom, taking a shower, or moving from one room to another have become major challenges for her. After having her left kidney removed, Heather is now living with only one kidney, and her remaining kidney is functioning at approximately 12%. The reality we are facing is incredibly difficult. Without a kidney transplant, Heather’s condition will continue to decline. In the hardest terms to say, my wife is slowly dying, and finding a kidney donor could give her the chance to keep fighting and have more time with the people who love her. That is why I am reaching out and asking for help not only financially, but also by simply sharing Heather’s story. The more people we can reach, the better the chance that her story may reach someone who could potentially become a kidney donor or help connect us with the right people. If you are unable to donate, please don’t feel like you can’t help. Sharing this post could be just as important. One share could reach the person who changes Heather’s life. We are taking things one day at a time and doing everything we can to make our home safer and more accessible for her while continuing to navigate what comes next medically. I am going to continue doing everything I possibly can to take care of my wife and stand beside her through this fight. Please help us get Heather’s story out there.
