Players provoke fans with their celebrations all the time. And guess what? The opposing players do not physically attack those players. Now I don't watch the Argentine league so maybe you're more familiar than I am but do home players do this regularly? Cos if they don't, one has to ask what makes this particular player's celebration deserving of a physical attack. Occams razor applies here; often times the simple explanation is the truth.
