I started with zero followers and honestly had no clue what I was doing. I didn’t have results to show. I didn’t have a “brand.” I was just a tired mom working full-time, shuttling kids to practices, serving at church, and trying to figure this whole online thing out. One of the only things I could do as a complete beginner was go live whenever I had a spare minute. Sometimes five minutes. Sometimes thirty. I’d literally hold my phone up while I walked around the track at my daughter’s softball practices and just… talk. What did I talk about? Half the time I couldn’t even tell you. I explained passive income in the most basic way I knew how. I shared what I was learning. I talked about feeling stuck in a job where I’d already topped out in pay. I shared the little wins, the big fears, the messy middle. I just talked to the camera like I was talking to a friend. And when people asked questions, I answered them. That’s it. I did this almost every single day, and looking back, it was one of the biggest reasons my business grew in the beginning. Going live is free, simple, and way more effective than people think. We make it scary in our heads, but it’s really not that serious. So my best marketing advice for you? Go live. Don’t wait to feel ready. Don’t wait for perfect lighting or the “right” topic. Just show up and talk. And if you want more beginner-friendly marketing advice, comment “more”. Join my community where I share even more free training for beginners. (It’s on my page!)
