Mississippi is one of three states with zero minimum age for marriage. Children already cannot easily divorce. I bet it’s worse in Mississippi.

Project 2025 wants to get rid of no-fault divorce nationwide (they could certainly expand this to other red states). And some states (like Louisiana) have optional “covenant” marriages which are veiled in religious language so young women get pressured into entering into this which gives up their right for a no-fault divorce. These restrictions are very dangerous for women and children. No woman should ever willingly do a “covenant” marriage and we have to make sure that the plan to get rid of no-fault divorce doesn’t expand.

A person can come to Nevada and reside here for 6 weeks. A witness is needed to attest that the individual has resided here for 6 weeks. Hire a professional process server or a sheriff in the state where your spouse lives to hand them the papers. If you can’t find the spouse, the intent to divorce can be published in a newspaper.
