Shaykh you are 100% wrong with this your comparison. 1, When Umar bn Khattob accepted Islaam he actually approached the Prophet as you said but the reason was that Muslims were afraid to practice Islaam openly with fear of been attacked by the unbelievers, it was Umar bn Khattob who started giving them the courage and that's because the entire Makkah, Madina and it's neighbouring states know Umar bn Khattob to be a very strong, undisputable and very strict. same thing to Khalid bn Waleed Saifullaah( Sword Of Allaah ), after converting to Islaam he inspired and gave more courage to the believers about Jihaad. and so on. Subhaana LLAAH that you are even making a comparison between the greatest efforts of the Sahabas( Companions ) to that of people who mixed both men and women singing, dancing in the streets aspiring Zinah. Shaykh take it or leave it My efforts, your efforts, in fact entire Muslims around the world today can never be compare to what the Sahabas has done to Islaam even for a month during their era.
