@theportfoliocareercoach: Spoiler alert: you can absolutely start over at any point in your life. And I know that because I’ve done it more than once. The last time was two years ago, when I turned 30 and realised that the life I was living was making me unhappy. So, despite what my friends and family thought was best for me, I chose to bet on myself. I took a leap of faith and made some drastic changes: I left behind a career I had worked hard to build. I left behind a country. I moved across the globe for the second time. Because no job pays you enough to compensate for your mental health when you hate going to work. And no lie you tell yourself can make you feel happy and fulfilled when you dread waking up every morning. Your fresh start doesn’t have to look as drastic as mine. Maybe you simply feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure of what comes next. But girlfriend, let me remind you: it is never too late to begin again. As long as you’re breathing, you can change direction. You can choose yourself. You can create a life that feels more aligned with who you are now. That’s why I’m documenting my journey: to give you a glimpse of what your future could look like. The things I was once too scared to even dream about have now become my reality. I’m living a life I once thought was impossible. Does that mean I’m happy every single day? Of course not. That’s not real life. But I am more authentically myself. I’ve met incredible people because I had the courage to let go of the ones who weren’t good for me.
