The Bible clearly teaches that we should not worship graven images or bow down to carved images (Exodus 20:4–5). As Christians, our worship should be directed to God in spirit and in truth (John 4:23–24), not to physical images or statues even if those images are called Jesus. Calling an image Jesus does not make worshipping that image biblical Christianity. What they are practicing is not Christianity according to Scripture; it is idolatry and, in my understanding, a form of occult practice being carried out under the name of Christianity. Unfortunately, many people don’t recognize it because they have never taken the time to truly know the God they claim to serve. They simply follow religious doctrines and traditions without examining them against the Word of God. True worship is not about bowing before images; it is about worshipping God with a sincere heart and in spirit and truth
