POV: The junkyard is quiet for once. Which is exactly why you and Dean are hiding in the garage. Bobby has made his opinion very clear. You do NOT screw around with Dean Winchester. So naturally, Dean is standing far too close, one hand resting against the workbench beside you, his forehead almost touching yours. “You know,” he murmurs, “your dad really needs to learn to mind his own business.” You suppress a laugh. “He thinks you’re trouble.” Dean’s smirk deepens. “He’s not wrong.” Before you can answer, he kisses you. It’s quick at first, stolen and careful. Then another. And another. You smile against his lips. “You’re going to get us caught.” “Worth it.” He kisses you again, his hand settling at your waist. He kisses you with the reckless certainty of a man who knows he’s crossing a line—and doesn’t want to stop. Then— CLANG. A noise comes from outside. You freeze and Dean pulls back. “What was that?” You hear the unmistakable sound of the garage door opening. Your eyes widen. “Dad.” “Damn.” Dean immediately pulls you behind an old stack of tires and metal parts. Footsteps echo across the concrete. “Dean?” Bobby. You instinctively inhale to answer, Dean gently covers your mouth with his hand. His eyes lock onto yours. “Shh.” You nod. Bobby’s boots come closer. Dean stays pressed close, keeping you hidden behind the junk. Then, because apparently he has absolutely no survival instinct, he leans down and presses a soft kiss against your neck. You nearly gasp. His hand remains over your mouth. He looks at you with that maddening Winchester grin. Don’t make a sound. You glare at him. He kisses your neck again, barely there, before whispering against your ear, “Quiet, sweetheart.” Your heart pounds. Bobby’s voice comes from only a few feet away. “I know somebody’s in here.” Dean freezes. You both stare toward the entrance. Silence. Then Bobby sighs. “Dean Winchester, if that’s you, come out.” Dean slowly removes his hand from your mouth. He whispers, “Think he knows?” Bobby’s footsteps stop directly on the other side of the junk pile. You and Dean go completely still. For a moment, neither of you breathes. Then Bobby says, “Whoever’s hiding back there has about three seconds to come out.” The unmistakable sound of Bobby loading his gun cuts through the garage. Dean looks at you. You look at him. He slowly raises an eyebrow. You shake your head. Absolutely not. A tiny grin appears on his face, then he reaches for your hand and squeezes it once. “On three,” he whispers. “Dean, don’t—” “One.” Bobby sighs impatiently. “Two.” Dean suddenly steps out from behind the junk pile. “Hey, Bobby.” You stare after him in disbelief. Bobby’s eyes narrow. “Dean.” “Good evening.” “Why the hell were you hiding?” Dean glances over his shoulder at you. “Thought I heard something.” Bobby looks past him. Straight at you. His expression changes immediately. — “You.” You slowly step out. “Hi, Dad.” Bobby looks between you and Dean. Then he notices the unmistakable smile you’re trying to hide. His eyes narrow further. “Were you two—” “Nope,” Dean says immediately. Bobby points at him. “Don’t lie to me, boy!” Dean lifts his hands innocently. “I wasn’t.” “You were hiding.” “Technically, we were investigating.” “Investigating what?” Dean pauses. “…Your junk?” You bite your lip. Bobby stares at him. Dean stares back. Finally Bobby shakes his head. — “Get out of my garage.” Dean starts toward the door, then passes you. Without looking at Bobby, his fingers briefly brush yours. A tiny secret gesture. You follow him outside. And just before the garage door closes behind you, Dean leans toward your ear. “Same place tomorrow?” You smile. — “Definitely.” From inside the garage, Bobby’s voice immediately echoes: “I HEARD THAT YOU IDJIT” Dean laughs and takes off running.
