YES!!!! I’ll be 49 soon…my kids are almost down school and I cannot wait to downsize and have less burdens to look after to be able to enjoy more things for me as I get older. I’m burnt out from managing everything on my own.

Mine isn’t a tiny home but it’s a 475sqft space with an enormous porch and backs onto a park .. as we get older women now don’t want or need all the junk. Just our peace

Legit just sold my entire life, downsized from 2000 sq ft to 400 sq ft, planted myself on a little lake where morning coffee soothes my soul, nature is in my every footstep & the air fills my lungs like a medicine I’ve needed for decades. The freedom I feel at 57 years of age is more than i could’ve ever imagined.

I'm 55, found an amazing, tiny house ( rental) 300 sq. ft. Bunkhouse on a 5 acre horse ranch. I LOVE THE LIFE I HAVE NOW!!! ❤️My kids are grown, it's just me and my fur babies!! It's all me! 😃

As a new empty nester I explain that it’s like living in a ghost house because the lifestyle is gone, the reason why I had the house is gone. The experience is completed, we did well, it was a success. But I’m still here living in the past while they are living their lives perusing careers, adventures and dreams. Being in love! My heart misses them. They are still my #1 love while I dropped to the bottom like a pick me girl. I’m here with memories of the past with hopes for family gatherings a few times a year. I have to share them now so I might not get that either. I lived a life for them and I’m left to figure myself out again. I don’t want to be the old lady and man rocking on the front porch watching the house get old with them. That thought scared me.

This is true. My son passed last year, I told me daughters I am going tiny. I just wrapped up my blueprint for my park model. Texas to North Carolina I cannot wait😊🏡🩷
