This was honestly one of the most unfunny things I've watched in a long time, and I don't say that lightly. I went into it expecting there to be some kind of payoff eventually, because that's usually how comedy works. Even if a joke starts slowly, there's normally a point where everything clicks together and the buildup finally makes sense. Throughout the entire video, I kept waiting for that moment to arrive. I figured maybe the opening was intentionally awkward to set up something bigger, or maybe there was going to be an unexpected twist that would completely change how I looked at everything that came before it. Instead, that moment never arrived. The entire experience felt like one long setup without any real conclusion. Every time I thought the punchline was about to happen, the video simply continued in the same direction. It kept introducing moments that seemed like they were supposed to be leading somewhere, but none of them ever paid off. It's almost like reading a mystery novel that spends hundreds of pages building suspense only to end without revealing who committed the crime. You're left feeling less confused about the story itself and more confused about why so much time was spent building expectations that were never fulfilled. One of the biggest problems is the pacing. Comedy relies heavily on timing, and timing is often what separates something that's genuinely hilarious from something that just feels awkward. Here, the pacing never seemed to find a rhythm. Certain moments dragged on far longer than they needed to, while other moments rushed by without giving anything enough room to become funny. Instead of creating anticipation, the extended pauses and repeated bits made everything feel slower and slower as the video went on. As I watched, I found myself constantly thinking, "Okay, maybe the next part is where it gets funny." That thought repeated itself over and over. Every new scene felt like it was introducing another opportunity for the joke to finally land.Unfortunately, every one of those opportunities passed without anythin memorable happening. can you believe someone typed this on a previous video😂omothis shadow banneddon make me mad

Nobody tells you that the promotion costs you every person you used to talk to 💬 The day before, you had a group. People at your level who understood the politics without explanation, who you could be honest with about a bad meeting or decision you were dreading. The day after, that group is your reports, and every honest sentence now has a consequence. So you try going up instead, and learn fast that the person above you does not want your doubt either, because to them doubt reads as not being ready for the seat. Here is what that actually looks like from the outside: 1️⃣ They stopped mentioning anything outside work, because small talk requires a version of themselves they no longer have the energy to perform. 2️⃣ They are doing work two levels below their title, since it is the only place left where nothing is political. 3️⃣ They stopped asking anyone what they think, not because they know better, but because asking feels like exposure. 4️⃣ They agree faster in meetings, which people read as checked out when it is actually a way to end the conversation sooner. 5️⃣ They are available at every hour, and everyone calls it commitment when there is simply nowhere else for them to be. Gallup has manager engagement down to 27% globally, with fewer than half of managers receiving formal training. We promote people into isolation and then act surprised by what it does to them. So if you are the one in the seat, the fix does not come from your employer. It is one peer at your level in a different company, somewhere you can be wrong out loud, and one relationship above your manager that has nothing to do with performance. If you have been in the role a year and cannot name who yours are, that is the real problem, not the workload. Comment ELITE and I'll send you my newsletter where I break down what this level really looks like from the inside. #leadership #corporatetruths #careerstrategy #eliterecruiter #management
