It’s a strange concept to understand coming from a blind person who still has a small amount of remaining vision. I will never be fully blind however my sight is deteriorating, at some point it will be dark I assume and maybe some light perception but it will never be nothing unless I have to get my eyes removed I suppose but yeah, it’s a weird thing for even me to grasp

joke is on you. I can see my room through my elbow because I am the idiot that put everything in it. my eyesight has been crap since i was born and i can only see through glasses so strong it makes normally sighted people feel drunk. still cool infos about blind people.

being blind doesn't automatically mean an eye doesn't work. most of the blind people just have blurry eyes. and if u cannot see, u don't see smudges or light blue nerves. it's pure black with nothing else, our eyes collects light to make us see. and if you don't have eyes or your eyes do not work, it just means you will see black but not the closed eye version and because black is the absence of light and the main job of the eye is collect light get it's colors then make us see and if there is no eye, there is no light to collect so it's black. I hate this elbow explanation. it just feels like they just copied and pasted it.

I always thought of it like this. How can people that can’t see tell you what they see people that are blind are kind of equivalent to people with no eyes at all.
