This is so true. I lost my husband almost 5 months ago. I I used to be able to do things on my days off from work- now I can’t. I do what I need to for my boys but no longer happy doing other things. I go to work with a fake smile- can no longer stand small talk and would rather sit in my car on my breaks then sit in the lunch room

Almost to year 6 without my partner it still hurts I start getting depressed and can’t figure out why bc nothing else has happened no sad news or anything then I realize the date is one month before the anniversary of when I lost him. There isn’t anything that helps the hurt go away. So with wiped tears pain and a smile to try and hide it with every day that goes on cause I can’t just give up. I can’t do that to the 3 amazing children we have together I can’t leave them with no one.
