@whatshotblog: Not only is London home to many bookshop cafes (see last carousel post) but it’s also home to many bookshop bars 😍 So if you love books and wine then this one’s for you 🫶🍷 📚 Book Bar Chelsea is one of my faves on this list as it’s a more spacious option with lots of different wines on offer. There’s usually a book / wine of the month pairing too which is always tempting 😋 There’s seating outside, inside on big tables, on squishy sofas or at the window seats. Morocco Bound Bookshop serves coffee and beer and hosts lots of community events including jazz nights 🎶 Backstory serves coffee and wine and you can sit at the bar area with your new read or a friend ☺️ Mimosas, anyone? Main Character Books has loads of space so is great for a catch up with the girlies over mimosas 😍 Maison Assouline is the fanciest on this list and the cocktails are $$$ but it’s a really nice, boujie space for a special occasion. The Common Press serves coffee & drinks and frequently hosts events in the evening for the community. They’ve just opened a new space in Dalston too! The OG bookbar 🫶 This is cosier than its sister branch in Chelsea but you can sit outside, inside or downstairs here and enjoy coffee or wine. The Book Elephant is primarily a bookshop but there is seating outside and in where you can enjoy a coffee or wine with your new read.
