All the bathroom suites, showers, screens and basins are on site. Counted six shower trays, all here. Honestly? It's looking close to finished. So far, so good. But it's never all smooth. We've hit a problem with the flat roof - it needs replacing. About £2,500. The builder offered to just patch it up. A quick fix. I said no. For the sake of £2,500, you do it properly. Durable, sustainable, no headaches down the line. Bodge jobs always cost you more later. Up top, the dormer extension has come out really well.
