Unfortunately - you shouldn’t be refunded. You took the property and left it so that nobody else could. You SHOULD NOT get a refund. You don’t read the details and you took away her chance at renting it to someone else.

I enjoy watching your videos and see your adventures. I’m an Air B and B host and feel that since you made the mistake, the cost should be yours. A one day notice is not enough time to get another guest. Let the host keep the money and book somewhere else. Mistake made… lesson learned and you did the right thing by paying the price instead of the person who didn’t make a mistake

As a former Air BNB host for this lovely home, I was never pressed for money so Id have made sure you knew I didnt have to and that most hosts likely wouldn't. but Id have refunded you.
