People lie every single day to their doctors stating that they only "drink socially" because they're afraid of judgement. You're trying to tell me that if those same people had been starting to hear voices, they would be completely forthcoming with that information? Everyone is different, of course. But women are ignored by doctors at every turn. My friend had admitted to hearing voices and begged for help for three full years. She was just told it was anxiety and she needed more sleep. Last year, she was diagnosed with severe schizophrenia when she jumped out of a moving car and finally found a doctor that would listen. My aunt suffered from 10 years of dizzy spells, falls, and odd symptoms. She was told the same f*cking thing as my friend. It's anxiety. Get more sleep. Try meditating. Then she went into septic shock from golden mesh (the standard back then, which has since been rarely used, BECAUSE of this happening) from a C-Section 17 years prior. She can no longer walk unassisted and is fully disabled. I can't say if Lindsay did this or not. I just know what happens when women ask for help. Absolutely nothing. I hate that I'm adding clout to this. Because this is their LIVES we're talking about. Everyone involved. But the fact that I see so many people saying, "Well, she still did it!", literally makes me lose faith in all of humanity.

I had “thoughts” when my third child was a newborn/infant… and I called a nurse help line. I WANTED and NEEDED help. But was TERRIFIED they would take my children !

Not to mention that as soon as you mention anxiety, stress, or mental health no one ever takes you seriously again at a doctors office. It’s always anxiety or stress.

I respect medical professionals and I also will not trust them inherently because I do not trust the healthcare system as a whole. Obviously, there are people who wouldn’t disclose certain pieces of information to healthcare providers, and for GOOD reason, as suggested in this clip.

If she didnt admit to or withheld symptoms for fear of losing her kids or the mental health stigma, that makes it look WORSE for the defense’s case. How were practitioners supposed to accurately diagnose her and accurately medicate her if she’s lying? So she caused her own psychosis…? Just trying to follow the logic or the argument here.

Please post the clip of the final witness stating that he was in the hospital room when Lindsay called Patrick on speakerphone when she told Patrick that she heard a voice in her head that told her to kill the kids and to kill herself it’s around 7:03:00 on the associated press on YouTube.

regardless of Lindsay being afraid of losing her career or custody of her children because of medical reasons isn't relevant. because if she had done that and been honest, and if the state decided to take away custody of her children, THEY WOULD BE ALIVE NOW.
