No... That is a true friend... She could have posted all of those other pictures, but she didn't. She posted that one... The one that needed to be posted. This honestly has me bawling my eyes out as a 37 year old man. While it's probably because I can relate to those feelings of self-hatred and not having someone like that who cares about me, and I'm at the lowest I've ever been lately, it's still a beautiful story. I wish we could all be so lucky as to have a friend like this.

As someone who lost my best friend at 30: take the pictures. Share the pictures. Love and appreciate the moment. I don’t have enough pictures of her, and only a handful of us together. My favorite picture I have of her is one she scoffed at when she saw it, a candid, her nose wrinkled in a full body laugh at my wedding reception. I love that picture, and it has helped me to never forget the sound of her laugh.

Correct etiquette would be to ask someone if they would mind if you posted a photo of them. She could’ve then explained prior to posting why she loves the photo.

I cried so much reading the post as I have serious insecurities about my face and skin due to illness....so I hide whenever a camera comes out...now I hardly have any memories to show anyone because I either did not take the photo or had it deleted.....thank you....for giving me a different perspective 🥰🥰🥰
