I totally get why people are one and done. I just think it’s kind of sad once their parents are gone. They have no siblings, nieces, or nephews.

As an only child I can say I had an amazing childhood + early adulthood. I had everything and more and experienced so much because my parents only had me, I agree with 1 child

As an only child please put her in camps, lots of activities and sports because that’s where I’ve found my sisters but I love that I can go home to no siblings 😭

I actually love the topic of how many kids bc I always felt like one girl was enough, but then when I think about the direction the world is going and how more unpredictable people are becoming and how our food is making us sick, I would be devastated if something happened to my one child specially since it HAS to be a girl, I would be extra worried about her. And knowing how black girls get policed and scrutinized growing up, I wouldn’t wanna put that on her bc of my own fears yk? For me, it would be either zero kids or two in the most unselfish way as a safety net
