People are really out here trying to argue that he was named after Daeron the Daring 😂. Why on earth would Daeron be named after the youngest and most irrelevant child of the opposing faction, who did nothing of particular note, died at 16, and was never mentioned again, rather than his own mother’s father, Daeron Velaryon, especially when he is born 13 years after Daeron the Daring’s irrelevant death and neither Aegon nor Daenaera ever met him? Like I understand that you want the Greens to stay relevant for longer than a few pages, but they aren’t 😬. That’s like saying Aegon V was named after Aegon II rather than the literal Conqueror himself.
