As a martial artist who studied both. It’s based on the fighter/Martial artists. That’s who win. Whoever is better at managing and exploiting space. Space is opportunity. That said, I prefer Muay Thai since there is more combat range that I favor. TKD does teach you to be light on your feet for quick transitions and managing your speed since all strikes don’t need to be powerful.
