@keepshowingupstephen: Come swim 1,700 yards with a 400-plus-pound man who has lost 82 pounds in 2026. Day 137 of showing up for myself. After a couple of rest days, I’m back in the pool. Today I swam 1,700 yards, or 1.55 kilometers, in one hour. The goal isn’t to be perfect. It’s to keep moving forward. I’ve lost 82 pounds so far this year, and I’m training toward a pretty big goal: walking the Rocket City Half Marathon in Huntsville, Alabama. Tomorrow I’ll be walking at the Birmingham CrossPlex. 14 days until my next monthly weigh-in. 117 days until Rocket City. And if I’m being honest, I’m ready for this Alabama heat to give us a break.

I am soooo ready for cooler weather! it's over 100 almost everyday, at least 60% ish humidity or more, and there are way too many bugs this summer where I am, so I'm ready for snow 😂
