@noa_noor: We stayed at Kodai-in Temple in Koyasan, and it’s honestly so worth the trip from Osaka. There are around 50 temples in Koyasan where you can stay, and ours was known for its stunning garden. We ate the same simple, plant-based meals as the monks and joined the early morning prayers. That night, we walked through Okunoin Cemetery, with hundreds of lanterns lighting the path through the forest.
