@americanredcross: I don't know how many times we have to say this, but you can't outrun a tornado in your car. Your first instinct should be to get to a sturdy building instead. If you can’t get to one, pull over and get as low as possible in a ditch or ravine, covering your head and neck with your hands. If that isn’t an option, stay in your car with your seat belt on, keep your head below the windows, and protect your head and neck. #TornadoSafety #Driving #SafetyTips #SevereWeather
