My first day of AP Bio we elected someone to make a seating arrangement and submitted our summer work which included a few worksheets for unit 8 (which we did first to introduce the class) and a scavenger hunt slideshow for a bunch of biology terms. I’m the valedictorian at my high school and we definitely don’t have a teacher that pressures kids on the first day of school. If you keep continuing this mindset, then students will drop the class before you even have the slightest opportunity to present yourself as a teacher. Your first look should be your best and right now, it is not looking good.
