@inkedabroad: Few months left! I want to say from the bottom of my heart how grateful I am for being able to have this opportunity. First off to my incredible mentor @filouino who has been so patient and just so helpful into guiding me as a tattoo artist. Every single day she has taught me everything she knows from drawing, to setting up my station, to tattooing fake skin to just giving me a second home in Germany. Moving to another country is a heavy thing, and her and Dan have both made this transition so comforting. I started this journey of Inked Abroad 6 years ago, because I wanted to dedicate my life to studying and documenting tattooing to help preserve and show the world how incredible it is. A few years ago, I had the idea that I wanted to take it a step further and become a tattoo artist myself. I wanted to know everything I possibly could, and also had so many creative ideas that I wanted to be able to create them for others. I wanted to do it the right way though. I wanted to have a mentor, take an apprenticeship, and learn how to draw and create stencils by hand. I still want to learn to build machines, and solder needles. Not because I need to, but because I care about the craft and want to learn everything I can. I will forever be a student. Now, in a few months I will be able to travel around and continue learning with all the amazing friends and family that I have made in this community. I just want to say how grateful I am for all of you. I can’t wait to tattoo with you guys soon. Thank you @filouino for everything you have given and taught me. You have given me more than I could ever thank you for. Also, a huge thank you to @apoundofflesh for providing me with all this amazing fake skin to help me learn how to use the machines. Thank you @eztattooing my family, for giving me the machine and cartridges to create these tattoos. Last but not least thank you @murostar_tattoo_piercing for supplying me up with all the everyday supplies to bring these tattoos to live.
