How it works: • Open a free Bilt account — no credit card application, no annual fee • Link the cards you already carry (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) • Turn on all restaurant rewards in the app — some spots won't earn without it • Pay with a linked card at any of the 20,000+ U.S. Bilt Dining restaurants You earn 1x–3x Bilt Points on top of what your card already pays you. Each restaurant's multiplier shows in the app. A $200 dinner: Amex Gold → 800 MR (4x dining) + up to 600 Bilt = 1,400 points Sapphire Reserve → 600 UR (3x dining) + up to 600 Bilt = 1,200 points Same meal, same swipe, two currencies. And Bilt Points transfer 1:1 to World of Hyatt, Atmos Rewards (Alaska + Hawaiian), United, and JAL. Bilt is the only major transferable currency that reaches Alaska, and the only non-Chase path to Hyatt. Two things to know: If a restaurant sits in both Bilt Dining and Rakuten Dining, one program can override the other on that card. Check both apps and route your card to whichever pays more at that specific spot. And one card only earns for one Bilt account.
