Hot take but this is good, people should be creating for the love of the game not for an easy check

If you are becoming a content creator solely for the purpose of monetization, you are already losing in the game.

8,000 watch hours is only 24,000 views on a 20 minute video. You have a full year to accomplish this. Its not that bad.

Yeah, they're making YouTube corporate now. They're gonna be like old school cable t.v. and cherry pick the creators they want then game over. It's corporatised now.

It forces quality, and consistency. No more shorts based channels, no more ai slop, no more uploading one video every three months. If you wanna be monetized, you have to produce quality content on a consistent basis and actually promote that material across different platforms. No more just uploading whatever or vanishing like YouTubers love to do

That first sentence is wrong. If you can’t hit 8k watch hours then you’ll never get paid to begin with. If you hit the creator rewards at 4k then never hitting 8k you’ll make $50 a year.

TikTok also has a problem where the 10K follower requirement is basically mandatory in order to get paid lmao, and apparently they're paying creators less

basically if they wanted to, they could use an AI detection system to prevent AI creators from monetizing off their platform, but they'd rather just make it harder for real human creators lol

Been a full time YouTuber for 8 years. I’ve started 3 channels in that time. One of which got monetized in 11 days. It is not impossible. You just have to make content that people want to see

They don’t want the average person to be able to make a lot of money from their own creative thoughts unless they control the narrative.

I can’t believe I’ve never used these clips before, they’re so good 😭 | song: montagem one more game funk | #edit #fyp #rezero #subarunatsuki #rezeroedit Subaru Natsuki is often considered one of the best-written characters in fiction because of how realistic and human his journey feels. Unlike many protagonists who begin with great power or talent, Subaru starts as an ordinary teenager filled with flaws. He is insecure, impulsive, prideful, and frequently makes mistakes. Rather than hiding these weaknesses, Re:Zero places them at the center of his story. What makes Subaru stand out is his growth. He does not become a better person overnight. Instead, he repeatedly fails, suffers, and learns from his mistakes. His development feels earned because every improvement comes through struggle and self-reflection. The story forces him to confront his own shortcomings, making his character arc far more believable than that of many traditional heroes. Subaru’s greatest battles are often emotional rather than physical. He struggles with self-worth, loneliness, and the fear of not being good enough. These challenges make him relatable to many viewers and readers. Despite overwhelming hardship, he continues moving forward and refuses to abandon the people he cares about. His resilience, gradual character development, and deeply personal struggles create a protagonist who feels genuinely human. Rather than being defined by power, Subaru is defined by perseverance, making him one of the most compelling and well-written characters in modern fiction.
