My cousin is unfortunately in psychosis right now but she’s also creating her own calendar where each week is ruled by a different colorful animal/mythical creature and then badly drawing them and posting them on instagram and I’m ngl it’s kinda sick

one of my parents was diagnosed schizophrenia and when they are not going down some paranoid rabbit hole on the internet they have more raw intelligence than anyone I’ve ever met in my life. They had weekend custody when I was a child and would spend every weekend devising the most creative and engaging ways to teach me how to read and think independently very early as a child despite getting never finishing high school themselves and working in oil fields and in construction since then. I have to imagine there are a lot of incredibly brilliant minds out there afflicted by these sorts of debilitating conditions

I had a man who was most likely having an episode in my work one day (my dad was schizoeffective so I could sorta tell). As he's rambling about the CIA being after him he kinda breaks for a second and said "You know if the governments really just wants to make money off of homeless people they should just legalize and regulate every drug that way atleast it takes the power away from gangs and turns blood money into real money. People should be able choose to do drugs if they want to". and like.. idk ya'll I think he might've been cooking.
