Best we can do is study our lineage and region. I know I have dreams, am clairaudient, and I love working w oils/plants. I read tarot. I don’t know my exact role I do what I know and can do. Scripture is also used. My family grew in that church. Great Grandma was a root worker as well.

I’m mad I missed that live! but no, not everyone is NOT called to conjure or rootwork. My grandmothers on my mamas side are from the delta, my grandmothers from my daddy practiced Appalachian conjure. I had the calling, but my sister and brothers did not, and it’s 5 of us. I had the calling for hoodoo amongst other practices. You will know, feel pulled, if you are supposed to practice. Spirit will be loud. And you’ll know what is your specialty! It’s not bout just conjure. It is like an assembly line 🥰 That’s all I’ll say!!

It also would be so exhausting to do everything 🤣 I do my own spells and work MY roots but I’m not out here doing that for everyone bc I’m ultimately a medium lol I listen to spirit & help people that can’t hear/see as well as me know what their spirits are trying to share with them & read energies they can’t feel as clearly for them & I like that job lol like I don’t wanna make tinctures & forage/dry herbs I wanna get that stuff from my girl that is gifted in dealing with herbs & such. I don’t wanna remove roots but I can see when something is on you & I know where to send you 🤷🏽♀️
