Do people not know what the word allegory means anymore? Nobody is saying that this is about trans people or gay people or minorities, they’re saying it’s an allegory, meaning that the story of Spider-Man and most heroes/mutants is specifically written with the idea in mind that it will relate to these minority groups more anyone else. There’s parallels in the story that parallel events that happen in real life to certain groups and these stories are meant to empower and support those groups. Nobody is saying spider man IS trans, but his story would personally resonate more with a trans person. Or any group who’s villainized by the media for things they can’t control

I feel like people in the comments are being intentionally obtuse about the simple concept of allegory and interpretation no Peter Parker is not literally trans(unless you've been on Twitter ig), but what he's going through could be taken as an allegory for it, someone could identify with what he's going through and relate it to being trans or neurodiveergent also "maybe you're trying to suppress something that needs to be expressed" ARE WE DEADASS
