@steffy_u_r_not_alone: I offered a homeless woman something to drink and a piece of pizza, and the first thing she worried about was spending too much of MY money. That humbled the hell out of me. Somebody will call this “enabling.” I call it seeing another human being and treating her like one. And if feeding somebody who’s hungry and showing them a little kindness makes me an enabler, then I hope I become the biggest fucking enabler in the world. We don’t know everybody’s story. Sometimes you don’t need to fix somebody’s life—you just need to remind them they still matter. If you still believe kindness costs us nothing, follow me.
