@champ_coasters: POV of Great Bear at Hersheypark 🐻 Loved how this ride weaves over parts of the park and the water — at times it reminded me of Silver Bullet at Knott’s. Really fun B&M invert. Opened in 1998, Pennsylvania’s first inverted looping coaster, and the largest investment Hersheypark had made at the time. Named after the Ursa Major constellation. It flies right over Spring Creek and threads past sooperdooperLooper’s helix and lift hill. Also known for that signature roar — the track isn’t filled with sand like most B&M inverts, so the wheels vibrate against the hollow structure. 🎢 @Hersheypark #greatbear #hersheypark #bminverted #pov #bolligerandmabillard
