@tracsoft: Folders and MD files make any LLM work for your business. Understand this tip and technique will change AI forever. Thanks to @Jake Van Clief for the information and content.
Folder structures only help the human reader. For AI they're token-heavy because it needs to consume more tool calls to search each folder. A flat folder structure is more token-friendly.

You just motivated me – I’m not using my folders at their maximized power

How will you apply this to an existing project?

Yes! It’s very effective. I noticed you had a dedicated agent md in at least one of the folders… smart move

Want to bring that to the next level? Put that in an obsidian vault. Then point your choice of Codex or Claude to create an LLM Wiki. That structure you built will become a more advanced RAG that takes your logic and documents and brings it to an even more digestible structure for an LLM. Then you have agent and clause md give processing instructions for your notes and other uploaded to the vault knowledge. I did the same as you mixed with obsidian and you’ll be next level

So before I get to my second prompt my initial prompt burned through 500k tokens searching and reading so it’s dumb by the third prompt. This is not what an LLM is for. Good organization for you to find stuff as you work but if you expect it to run through all that by the time it starts to work on something your context window is already cooked.

I built 2 persistent memory systems. They fill naturally as I work with the LLM … Claude and Grok share the technical system and it’s crazy powerful. Any bug/gotcha/workaround is only discovered once. From then on, the LLM just knows about it.

Wish I understood this. What triggers and “connects” and uses the folders and data

I do this at work as a senior developer and lately have been consulting others. Ai really becomes a coworker that understands where your info and projects are when you need cross projects and docs. Using an initial Claude.md file that understands the structure is important you can Claude /init to kick start that in the root.

I’ve really been thinking about getting into AI to make money. Is it really as doable as they say?

Why a md file vs word or something else? Why not have it all in one file??

@Tracsoft | Digital Marketing - Do you think it’s better or easier to do this on your computer vs in something like Obsidian?
