lowes and home depot has buckets that are safe for storing your food and supplies in. plus it makes it easier to grab in an emergency

Freeze you corn meal, and rice, flour. The weevils will destroy your stock. For a week or so.

A tip I’ve heard is buying the pre cooked rice that’s in the packets and canned beans so you don’t have to use water to cook it/eat it!
